Overview

Responsible for outsourcing and facilitation of the delivery of (currently only preclinical) CPSS aspects of drug projects. Monitors that these activities fall within agreed time, budget and quality. Supports the project team by providing guidance and advice on tools, processes and outsourcing. Able to solve day to day issues problems within own area of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provides project management expertise to support the design and interpretation of cross functional project plans
  • Ensures preclinical CPSS project aspects are delivered on time and budget. Establishes a positive project environment by facilitating team interactions. Responsible for timely outsourcing of preclinical CPSS activities, taking into consideration the wider project landscape ensuring correct scheduling of tasks, risk and opportunity management, reporting and resource or cost control
  • Communicates new processes or strategies to own project teams to define future procedures
  • Keeps own knowledge of best practices and new relevant developments up to date
  • Contributes to team efforts in order to improve the methodology and provide practical solutions

Contributes to the development, sharing and project management support of new procedures, tools or techniques to improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own area

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

·         Experience in Scientific Project Management

·          

·         Advanced degree within the field

·         Experience as a project or change manager in a pharmaceutical or clinical environment

·         Professional certification

·         Understanding of multiple aspects of Scientific Project Management
