Responsibilities

Main activities:

 

• The role of the Manager, Clinical Operations is to line manage CRAs and/or CTAs effectively, ensuring high performance, quality and continuous development. Including interviewing, evaluating and selecting CTAs and CRAs.
• To assist Amgen in performing oversight in fulfilling its site management activities and obligations in relation to clinical studies as the primary sponsor of those studies.
• Create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining processes adding value to our business and meeting Amgen needs
Onsite assessment visit with each CRA once a year
• In addition to work according to and comply with relevant ICON/DOCS procedures and processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific or health-related field.
  • Experience as Senior CRA leading and mentoring junior monitors, as Coordinator CRA or related roles preferrable
  • Therapeutic expertise and knowledge of the clinical research landscape; ability to acquire and maintain therapeutic expertise to support portfolio needs.
  • Demonstrated strategic agility & broad business acumen.
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors with ability to accept challenges, seek opportunities to remove barriers, influence without authority, and lead in areas of uncertainty.
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language.
