Job Title: Manager, Data Management

Location : Chennai/ Bangalore

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure Data Management deliverables pertaining to technical team are consistently delivered on time with quality standards.
  • Align department, program and study level goals and objectives are consistently met to the highest standard of quality.
  • Track and report staff workload to optimize utilization and ensure effective resource management.
  • Provide technical and managerial leadership, including mentorship and training direct reports.
  • Demonstrate presentations in sponsor meetings highlighting the team performance and identify gaps to improve.
  • Delegate responsibilities appropriately with a target of continuously developing team capabilities.
  • Perform interim and annual performance reviews for direct team members, identify gaps and propose development plans.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Operations team on the performance of the direct reports and instigate follow-up review where required.
  • Represent at internal / external / sponsor audits and manage findings through resolution both operationally and within the Quality Management System.
  • Record all billable and non-billable time accurately into the appropriate time management system. Review/approve time sheets for direct reports on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Continually monitor assigned study team productivity and performance
  • Develop and foster client relationships through the implementation of effective communication, project management and solution-based approaches for assigned programming team
  • Generate and analyze key metrics, share insights with leadership, and lead discussions on program performance

Qualifications

You are:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Management Programming.
  • Hands on experience in EDC Programming tools, preferably Rave and knowledge on SAS/Visualization tools
  • Strong technical and functional expertise to support team members.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and project management skills.
  • Proven experience in people leadership, including recruitment, training, and mentoring.
