Responsibilities

As a Clinical Trial Assistant at ICON, you’ll work with a collaborative and successful team to support our Clinical Trial Management and Project Management teams with operational activities. We pride ourselves on our amazing company culture, where we work as one team to achieve industry-leading results.

 

Product-related operational activities- Management of imports of products in development for future non-IRT and RLT studies- AxMP purchasing (requesting quotes from wholesalers, reviewing and forwarding them to clinical teams for approval, initiating POs with finance, placing firm orders with suppliers)- Creation of labels to be submitted and specific labels upon receipt of locally sourced products based on SPCs and SmPCs - Initiation and review of Technical Agreements with Creapharm for all locally sourced products 
- Initiation of specific study contracts with Creapharm in conjunction with clinical teams

Operational activities related to equipment- Purchasing devices or leasing equipment (requesting quotes, reviewing and forwarding them to clinical teams for approval, initiating POs with finance, firm orders with suppliers)
- Managing the closure of equipment studies (rented and returned equipment)
- Inventory cleanup and management of expired products (monthly) / product destruction orders

Administrative Tasks- Sending global releases (QPBC) for all ongoing studies to clinical teams for distribution to the centers- Checking and monitoring invoices (and their proper payment) for services billed based on services performed- Managing the closure of Creapharm, SP LCS, and Equipment studies (rented and returned equipment)- Managing missing AoRs for products sent to the site and returns and destructions not received by Creapharm


Qualifications

You will need:

  • Solid experience as CTA within CRO/Pharma company
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Organizational skills to support several team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Fluency in english
  • Working Knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
