As a Manager, Clinical Sciences you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

 

The Manager, Clinical Sciences oversees all aspects of the assigned client-dedicated Team, ensuring the successful execution of Data Management operations. This role includes coordinating and supervising daily activities, managing resources, and ensuring that the team meets project timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Manager, Clinical Sciences also serves as the primary point of contact for team members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback, while fostering collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

  • Responsibility for the team's operational delivery outcomes
  • Managing the subordinate team, incl. employee retention, training and development
  • Building the team culture and spirit
  • Contribution to the recruitment process
  • Cooperation with extended management team in the terms of process efficiency and operational excellence
  • Ability to provide on-the-job training and support to the team within Data Management area
  • Performance management based on business indicators and soft skills
  • Ensuring high effectiveness in accordance with agreed KPIs, supervision over productivity and quality
  • Acting as the main Point of Contact for the Sponsor(s) and link between the Sponsor, CRO management team and Data Management team, where applicable
  • Building relationships with the Sponsor, ensuring good communication process, regular and constructive feedback
  • Regular meetings with the Sponsor to verify the level of achieved business goals

Qualifications

You should have:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, data analytics or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in managing data management operations, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project and data management tools and methodologies, with a keen focus on optimizing processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive successful outcomes.
  • Experience in working in CRO company including cooperation with a Sponsor will be an advantage
  • Advanced verbal and written English language skills
  • Prior experience in managing a team, including remote team, or commensurate experience leading a project team
