The Senior Contract Associate is responsible for all aspects of preparation, negotiation, and execution of required site/investigator contracts. The Senior Contract Associate assumes responsibility on quality deliverables throughout the conduct of the study with a concentration on site/investigator contracts during Site Start Up and up to Site initiation.
What you will be doing:
Serve as the primary contact between CBO and Global Clinical Operations, Legal, Sites and/or external service providers; serve as the primary site contracts lead at the protocol level.
Draft, review, analyze, negotiate, finalize, amend, and terminate site, investigator, and clinical trial/service contracts with stakeholders including client Legal, study teams, and clinical sites.
Prepare and document process flows for each study and manage contract execution including the signature process.
Plan, forecast, and communicate fully executed planned dates of site contracts to Clinical and Study Start-up teams.
Liaise with Legal to review/update contract templates (MCTA/CTA/PA/ancillary agreements) and legal Playbook guidance documents.
Ensure site contracts and investigator grants align with client payment guidelines and are approved by Legal prior to execution.
Revise legal contracting text using client Playbook process; escalate revisions as per CBO and Legal guidelines.
Perform legal translation/proofreading of contracts, communicate legal/budgetary issues, and maintain communication with internal/external parties throughout the contract lifecycle.
Assist in budget development, prepare amendments and related contract activities, maintain trackers and contract management records, and support project handoffs.
Participate in meetings, train/mentor new and junior ICM team members, support new process implementation, and provide training on site contractual requirements.
