Overview

As a Clinical Operations Manager (COM) you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

 

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Clinical Operations Manager (COM) to lead and oversee clinical trial operations at the country level. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials, maintaining regulatory and financial compliance, and driving operational excellence across all phases of study start-up and execution.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

  • Own and manage country and site budgets, including forecasting and reconciliation.
  • Lead the development, negotiation, and completion of Clinical Trial Research Agreements (CTRA).
  • Oversee clinical research-related payments and ensure timely reconciliation at study close-out.
  • Maintain financial systems and ensure compliance with FCPA, DPS/OFAC regulations.
  • Manage country-level submissions and approvals for assigned protocols.
  • Develop and translate local language materials, including informed consent forms.
  • Liaise with IRB/IEC and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure quality and compliance across assigned protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CRM, CRA, CTC, Finance, Legal) to meet country deliverables.
  • Align timelines with regional operations and support local vendors.
  • Manage clinical and ancillary supplies, import/export requirements, and insurance processes.
  • Maintain accurate country-level data in clinical and financial systems.
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders to meet budget and payment timelines.
  • Partner with internal departments and external vendors to ensure successful trial execution.

Qualifications

You are:

  • 5–7 years of clinical research experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Administration, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
  • Fluency in English and the local language.
  • Strong experience in clinical project management and coordination.
  • Deep understanding of clinical, regulatory, and financial systems and metrics.
  • Extensive knowledge of local regulatory environments and approval processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple protocols and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in remote and virtual environments.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting procedures.
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors: Ethics & Integrity, Customer Focus, Results Orientation, and Collaboration.
