Responsibilities

ICON are currently looking for experienced Clinical Study Manager to join our ICON FSP team and work for a global pharmaceutical company as a Clinical Trial Manager.

 

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • In this role you will be responsible for regional study delivery (2-3 countries) with appropriate inspection readiness quality, within agreed timelines and budgets
  • You will lead the regional clinical operations team (including oversight of CROs working on the regional level) and acts as point of escalation for resolution of issues within the region for the assigned study
  • Working with key stakeholders in the region and provides regular updates on study progress in the region to senior management and Study Managers as required
  • Leads planning and management of the assigned clinical studyies from feasibility through closeout
  • Generates, manages, and maintains high quality study start up and recruitment timelines
  • Accountable for submissions of study in countries in assigned region in close collaboration with regional study start up team and regulatory affairs
  • Collaborates closely with CRAs in the region to ensure proper study execution at the sites. You may review and approve monitoring visit reports
  • Works with the sourcing team to select and manage regional study vendors
  • Manages regional study budgets

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline required
  • 4 or more years of previous experience in clinical research within biotech, pharma or CRO industry
  • Previous  experience in clinical study management of oncology trials
  • Previous experience as CRA is preferred
